This article will describe how to embed an alert widget in OBS Studio using Browser Plugin.
Step 1: Check for Browser Plugin
The most convenient way to embed a widget in OBS Studio is to use Browser Plugin. So you should be sure that Browser Plugin is installed before you continue.
Note that Browser Plugin is included with the official OBS Studio installer, so you probably already have this plugin installed.
Step 2: Add the widget
In the "Alerts" section of your control panel, find and copy your unique OBS, XSplit, or Kast link. In OBS Studio, right-click in the "Sources" list. Select "Add", then "BrowserSource".
In the window that appears, enter a name for the new source, e.g. "DonationAlerts Notification Widget". Click "OK". In the properties window that appears, enter the previously copied link in the "URL" field.
To edit an existing widget's settings, right-click on the widget in the "Sources" list and select "Properties".
That's it!
In the "Alerts" section of the control panel, click "Add test alert". The alert should appear in your OBS Studio.
To change the size of the widget, edit the "Width" and "Height" values in the source's properties window.
